Less than a week old.

I was able to attend my first birth on March 18. It was a home birth of some dear friends of ours. I was originally supposed to be a guardian for their 3-year-old, but she slept through the whole thing, and I was able to witness that miracle. She used a birthing tub, and their was music playing, low lighting, and candles burning to set the ambiance. 4 hours of labor and a healthy 9lb. 15 oz. boy later, and the family of four was resting in their own bed and enjoying getting to know each other. Thank you to the Marshall's for letting me be a part of such a beautiful and intimate experience.
