Here is little Bennett all bundled up in the blanket that I knit for him. I love being able to make something so comforting and soft for these new little people entering this world.This last weekend, I drove to Portland to spend some much needed girl time with two of my closest friends, Jen and Nicole. We get together at least once every year, and when we leave we are already looking forward to the next year.
Jen had a beautiful little boy on March 27, and this was our first time meeting him. We spent the weekend, mostly in the living room and in our sweats, talking, crying, laughing, and giving each other massages (one of our favorite pasttimes when we are together). Our goal was to get some good girl time in, as well as help these new parents out. We had a fantastic time and wish we could have helped the new momma catch some zzzzz's. I love you girls!! Here's to another great weekend!

I love the blanket. It looks so cozy and big enough for a mom and a baby to snuggle under. Congratulations for another completed project!
