Happy 2009!

Well, here's to a new year. I wrote out my resolutions the other night. I tried to make most of them attainable goals, so we'll see. We rang in the new year with our wonderful friends, Jim and Deveney, whom we also spent Christmas morning with. We made sushi and "kanpai-ed" with saki, and we had a really fun game night where we played several games and scored points for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. We started off with Pictionary, then on to Apples to Apples and Uno Attack, a round of 501 with the dart board, then back inside for Pac-Man on an old joystick that plugged into the t.v. (very fun) and then pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey. We actually missed midnight due to making a coffee cocktail in the kitchen to keep awake and game night going, but we toasted at 12:05 am instead. In the past couple of years, neither Kelly or I had made it much past 10:30. Anyway, fun was had by all. I hope all of you had a wonderful last night of 2008, and here's to a fresh start and hopefully prosperous, safe, and kind year to all!
